Considering a booster for vyvanse (with wellbutrin XL) – ADD Forums

Hey guys,
I’ve been taking vyvanse 60 mg for like 2 years, and it’s a good dose for me. However, in the afternoon I feel like I could use a little boost besides caffeine which makes me jittery. I lose productivity at 3 PM or so, I can still fall asleep at like 8 :30 PM if I wanted to…Could be due to my SSRI. I know this is also from my body natural cycle and I shouldn’t fit it, but it sucks because my friends and family all want to hang out until like 10-11 PM and i’m sitting here like an old man (i’m only 30!) falling asleep at 8. I also recently started bupropion XL 300 mg like 1.5 months ago and it’s helped with my SSRI side effects. Just thought i’d share that because obviously I’m on quite a cocktail here.

I was looking at boosters. I don’t want anything IR to be honest, and I want to start with the lowest possible dose. I know adderall XR is a popular one, but also hear things about dex spansules. I was also thinking like 20 mg vyvanse, but honestly it just sounds silly and I don’t think my insurance would cover two doses a day.

I was thinking maybe addy XR 5 mg or 10 mg to take at around 1-2 PM (I take my vyvanse at 5:30 – 6 AM), or dex spansules. I wouldn’t mind the addy XR but I hear it gives more anxiety compared to dex?

I was hoping to hear input from peoples experiences. I’m NOT asking for medical advice, but just looking to get some anecdotal input.
