I finally had a conversation with my parents the other day about how I want to get tested for ADHD. They immediately got very defensive. They think I’m being crazy and that there’s no way I have it. Even though I check off quite a lot of the boxes. Regardless, they ultimately decided that I can get tested (once quarantine is over) for my own peace of mind. Now I’m just second guessing myself. Like, what if my parents are right and I’m just wasting their time and making a big deal out of nothing. I dont know, I was just hoping I could get some advice/support cause I really dont know what I’m doing at this point.
