I'm not sure if this is common practice and widely known, but I've been doing this on and off for the past 6-7 years and felt the need for sharing it. It can really help me get going as soon as I have to get out of bed.
Let's say i have an early appointment, and it's something i really don't feel like doing: I'll set an alarm somewhere between 1 or 2 hours before I actually have to get up, pop my meds, and go back to sleep. When my actual alarm wakes me up, I'll be all set to go. Less distractions, less procrastination, more effectivity – bang, and the dirt is gone.
