I brushed my teeth and meditated 3 days in a row! : ADHD


Officially got my diagnosis on Saturday at the age of 26 and started ritalin that morning. I’ve never felt this calm and focused before. It’s amazing! I’ve managed to get a bunch of stuff done over the past few days but the thing I’m proudest of is brushing my teeth every day and finding 10mins to meditate (using the headspace app). These seem silly to most people but I’m sure everyone on here understands how amazing it feels to just be able to FUNCTION for once!

Also, if anyone has any tips on adjusting to meds or dealing with a new diagnosis as an adult I’d love to hear your experiences xx
