I’ve been an online college student for a few years and have taken both in person and online courses since highschool . I always liked online courses better. I thought I was able to get around and hide the procrastinating, insomnia, lack of focus, etc. better this way. I’ve noticed though that some ADHD students actually function better with in person classes because they have to be more scheduled. In the past year I have become more scheduled (plan everything, to do lists, time block, timers) and organized and I have seen huge improvements in school.
I’m wondering if maybe I just haven’t done regular in person classes in a long time and would actually do better in that format. Curious to hear other students thoughts or experiences. I’m thinking about switching to all in person classes for Fall.
